Interior thoughts...

As my interest for fashion is huge it may not be farfetched that I´m also interested in another lifestyle item - interior. I really like the Manhattan design by Josef Frank and just the other day I bought the pillows. I would really like something else in the same design to match the pillows but I don't want to "overmatch". Maybe the Manhattan tiles or the table lamp. By the way, did you know that Svenskt Tenn recently launched two new patterns of Josef Frank? The patterns are named "Ceylon" and "Aramal" and they were painted in the 1940´s. He made totally 160 different patterns that Riksarkivet in Stockholm are taking care of now and you can find about 40 of them at Svenskt Tenn.
My new pillows in my lovely chair. It´s quite a fun story about this chair. It´s a rocking chair from my aunt's attic (actually bought at IKEA in the 60's) that my sister wanted to redo in wool fabric so my dad looked for a cheap farmer that he could buy wool from and also someone that could change the chair fabric. The result turned out this good and it reminds me of the Swedese chair Lamino. I can assure you that they were nice to the cheap :-).
"Ceylon"
"Aramal" is named after a beach in Spain. I´m not that into none of these patterns and I think that I will hold on to the Manhattan design. At least for a while..
This is a solution for my favourite bags. For me they are nicer than a painting. At top from the left; Botkier, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs and Chloé.
I also want to do something with my favourite shoes and I think it would look nice to place them at a shelf like this. Nice to mix the red colour with black shoes. This one is from Nordiska Galleriet.

I want to recommend the web site http://www.lauritz.com/Default.aspx?sflang=sv&LanguageId=3 where you can bid on very nice antique furnitures. There are also many design furnitures that hopefully can be a bargain.
